Monks know--
some shower but weekly, if that--
it's not cleanliness
that's next to godliness, it's
generosity
Naturally,
you can't get close
just by appearing charitable, yet
apart from generosity, God won't
recognize you
But then if God--being all-knowing--
fails to notice,
that makes you
remarkably
unnoticeable
So an open hand
in the round
can prove the path
to a clear mind,
a clean heart
With all that going for
your person,
there's no getting nearer God,
without being
God
