The following information is from Bauer's 'Familien in Biblis 1580-1899'
and information from Frank Janson of St. Louis Mo.:
Valentin (b. 8 Jan 1817) married his third cousin Maria Eva (b. 7 Jan 1828)
in Biblis on 4 May 1851. This couple emigrated from Biblis in 1852 for
America. Apparently, Maria Eva died either on the ship or sometime after
arriving in America, because Valentin married Eva Schneider (b. ca 1828 in
Hessen-Darmstadt?) in St. Louis on 5 Aug 1855. It is not presently known
what happened to Maria Eva.
Valentin and Eva settled in Lebanon, IL where they farmed and raised
their family of three children. Valentin and Eva are buried in St. Joseph
cemetery at Lebanon, IL.
