| Discrimination in the United States of America has always been an issue. Dating back to racial and female discrimination, groups have fought back to retain their rights as U.S. citizens. While some of those tendencies are still present in our society, a new type of prejudice has joined the fray. This new kind of bias is powered by religious beliefs and involves the frictional surface between religion and corporate business. This expanding dilemma is the issue of same-sex discrimination upon employees in corporate America. Same-sex discrimination in corporate America has been a problem in the past, and it is currently progressing towards a positive outcome; but even if there are policies protecting GLBT groups, it will continue to exist until companies employ educated leaders who completely understand equal rights. |
