In the effort to make our neighborhood a safer environment for all residents, we like to get people to sign up for our VIP team.
What is VIP?
VIP- Volunteers in Patrol: This program is designed to reduce crime by having citizens patrol their own neighborhoods and reporting any suspicious or criminal activity to the police.
REASONS THIS IS WORTH YOUR TIME:
* Tour the City's 911 Call Center and learn how it works.
* Learn how the criminal mind works, to protect yourself and property.
* Receive the cool patch below.
TO REGISTER FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Print out the attached application and complete.
A criminal background check will be conducted of all participants.
2. Mail it in right away.

If you are interested in helping us make our community better and safer, and meet the following qualifications, we would like for you to consider becoming a DPD volunteer.
* At least 21 years old
* Complete a successful background check
* Possess a valid Texas Driver?s License
* Have had no moving violations in the last two years
* No prior Felony convictions
* No Misdemeanor A or B convictions in the last 5 years
* No DWI conviction in last ten years
* Successfully complete all required training
