In Grade Twelve, I wrote an article about dieting for Hawk Talk, my High School newspaper.  The female phys-ed class jumped up and down and said it was horrible, parents phoned in and complained and the principle disliked me forever after.  I'd never been in so much trouble in my life.  It was at that point that I decided to take journalism at university.  Since then,  I have been published in various different newspapers and newsletters. 

In University I started writing for Carleton's student newspaper The Charlatan.  I also became the Education/School pages editor at Vistas, my community newspaper.  If you take the time to read it, I hope you enjoy my writing.
