The November meeting of the LF&G was held on the 7th. at the club 22 members attended and the raffle raised $52.
The workers installing the power lines are in close proximity to the 100-yard backstop, so be sure to exercise extra caution when using that range.
The club requires 100% N.R.A. membership because of our insurance. I am missing membership numbers of approximately 150 LF&G members. Club renewal forms are being sent with this newsletter* and your N.R.A. member number must be filled in or the renewal will not be accepted. If your membership has expired you can renew or join as a new member through the club at a meeting or we can mail you the proper form. If your mailing label has the number 01 on the right side, you are already paid for the year 2001 and your work requirement does not apply to the year 2000. For those with 00 you are due for renewal. The letters NW indicate that your work requirement has not been fulfilled and W that it has. Senior members are not required to pay the no work fee. Members not renewing by March 31, 2001 will be dropped from the membership list and the locks will be changed on or about that date.
The last event of the year, the October pumpkin shoot went well even though the weather was cold and windy. Everyone enjoyed the pig roast and went away fat and happy. Our bank account got also got fatter by $1,000 which is the amount turned in after the pumpkin shoot. Thanks go to Jim McCloud, Joe Morrison, and all the others, too numerous to mention, for their hard work and dedication to the club.
Nominations will be held at the December meeting for three positions on the Board of Directors, and also the four positions of club officers, with elections at the January meeting.
