The May meeting of the LF&G was held on the 2nd at the club 39 members attended and the raffle raised $55.

The Londonderry Police Department has contracted with us to use the 50-yard range for their training. They will have unlimited use the range weekdays and will be responsible for their own clean up. They won't be there every day so when they are use one of the other ranges; after all they are paying us $2,000 for the year.

Kudos for the 17 members that did the clean up, and also the 16 that helped at the derby. Thanks to the armature radio club for the radios and Bill Warnock for cleaning fish, It's good to see an increase in member participation.

Because of the recent acts of stupidity I am going to award (I hope not monthly) the Dumb Ass of the Month Award. Our first recipient is the genius who tossed his empty drink cardboard container into the outlet stream of the pond. Then this ameba brain threw the bottles into the pond; oops I almost forgot to mention that the bottles were Jack Daniels. Your award is the Dubious Digit as standing proudly alone from a clenched fist, and I don't mean you're #1.

The new conservation officer in our area is David Walsh, any questions or problems can be directed to him.

The October full auto shoot has been rescheduled again, the new and final date is Oct. 28 and will include a pig roast.

Fourteen new members joined in May. Nick Amerena. David Balke, Alan Goetz, Peter Cantelli, Norm Dion, Daniel Proulx, Donald Nelson, Kenneth Miner, Michael Ronayne, Ralph Picard, George Gamache, Michael Robertson, Francis Rzasa, and Stephen Towne.
