The February meeting of the LF&G was held at The Manchester Firing Line,19 members attended and the raffle raised $59. Thanks to everyone that has donated items for our e-bay auction site so far we have made, $530.09 keep those donations coming. The shotgun and rifle we purchased for the range construction raffle are beautiful, we need volunteers to sell raffle tickets at upcoming gun shows or other gatherings, this will count as a work credit.
If you have not renewed your membership do so before March 31st to avoid the late fee, the locks will be changed on April 1st. The two numbers on the right side of your mailing label indicate the year that you are paid through. Several members have taken advantage of the multi year plan. Pay for 5 years get the 6th year free or pay for 10 years and get 2 years free and no work party requirement.
The power line construction is completed so the board of officers unanimously agreed to open the 100 yard range. Be certain to place targets against the backstop. Do not use the 25 and 75 yard berms on that range, the weather has eroded them, and they will be repaired as soon as possible, use only the 50 and 100. Use the 25 yard range by the pond if you what to shoot short range.
We have the completed the towns requirement of joining the two parcels of land into one and are proceeding to the next step for the new range. The club now has a web site, http://www.geocities.com/lfgcnh/ Thanks to Shamael Afzaal, who put this together and maintains it.
After a couple months of trouble with my computer it finally committed suicide. I lost lots of data including all of the club e-mail addresses. Send your address to [email protected] and I can get you back on e-mail.
