The April meeting of the LF&G was held on the 4th. At the Wilson Hill Pistol Club, 42 members attended and the raffle raised $75.

The Manchester Kawanis Club requested to use our pond for their fishing derby. They run it as an instructional event for underprivileged kids. They will supply their own insurance, concessions, staff with their own members, add 200 fish to the pond, and clean up before leaving. A motion was made and seconded, and by unanimous vote was passed. Date for the derby is May 20th.

As of yet nobody has offered to take up running archery shoots. It looks like the archers are abandoning their sport.

It was found that there was some vandalism recently at the club. Someone got creative with a can of spray paint and dumped over trash cans and spread it all over the 100 yard range. It appears to have been done by a club member. The rest of us hope that you are real proud of yourself.

We will be having field pistol silhouette this year. NRA and IMHSA rules will be the basis but these are not sanctioned matches, they are just for fun. Chickens at 25 yards. pigs at 50, turkeys at 75, and rams at 100. Straight wall pistol cartridges 22 hornet and 32-20 only. Maximum barrel length 10.5 " by manufactures specifications. Two categories, iron sights, and any sight (scope, red dot, etc.) Also will have 22 rim fire for pistol, and am trying to find a set of 22 rim fire rifle targets. These targets will be on load to us so there will be an entry fee of $2 to cover the cost of target damage or replacement.

Work party and clean-up May 6th 9am-noon.

Seven new members joined in April. John Ebersole, Brian Pepin, Alan Rice, Jay Simkin, Marc Noel, Patricia Agri, and Patrick Murphy.

The club officers are: President, Art Pollak 432-3964, Vice President, Mark Krochmal, 623-7936, Secretary, Ken Blanchard, 622-1680, Treasurer,Rich Berthiaume, 669-9345.
