HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF you are a stalker, that's not so good, people don't like stalkers....but if you simply adore me and want to know everything about me, then you are in the right place my friend!

Let's start at the beginning....a very good place to start..... (lalalala)

I'm currently based at University of Illinois, Chicago.  i'm a first-year student getting my Masters in Public Health (MPH) in the Epidemiology division.  What is Epidemiology?  It's basically evaluating diseases, both physical and social, that plague society and coming up with programs and systems that combat these diseases.  These can be anything from infectious diseases, to violence, to poverty, to alcoholism.  At any rate, I have two years in this program, and then I have my masters!  It's hard to be away from Ann Arbor, where I graduated from the University of Michigan, but life goes on.  Hopefully, by the time I get out of school, the general hiring freeze will be over!!!!

Since I am talking about what I want to do in the future, perhaps I should share my past a little.  After suriving 9+ years at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Grade School in Warren Michigan (Metro Detroit, where I grew up)  I went to Mercy High School, in Farmington Hills, MI...which is an all-girls Roman Catholic school.  The best thing that came out of that are the friends that I still have, especially my three roommates from last year -- Erin, Kerry and Tiffani.
Do you want to hear about me being Ukrainian????  Okay!!!  I am 100% born and bred Ukrainian stock, 2nd generation American.  It's the best thing in my life, and it always has been.  I have "family" all over the world, because of the bond that our heritage brings us.  I consider myself lucky to be that unique in the melting pot that is our country.  And so I teach music and bandura, the national instrument, during summer camps.  Kids and adults learn not only the techniques of playing the instrument and learning music theory, but they also develop a sense of heritage and family.  That's the most rewarding part.  If you want to know any more about the camps or bandura, please click here!
