Craig A. Tyrl
The Captain
Craig
is extremely excited to be joining the cast of Anything
Goes.
He first saw the show when attending graduate school outside
Philadelphia.
Then a student of philosophy and theology, Craig never
dreamed he’d be on stage.
A move to California three years ago began a new life of
fitness, singing, and creative expression.
From his first roles as a pirate in The Pirates of
Penzance and Stuart in Brigadoon, he found a true love.
He says it just gives him a chance to be that silly, goofy,
and quirky kid of yonder years.
Most fun have been his
performances as Dr. Kitchell
in Bells
are Ringing, Lane Blane
in Sally
Blane: Girl Detective, Melvin P. Thorpe
in The
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
and Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret.
In his spare time Craig finds unspeakable joy singing 2nd
Tenor with Men Alive: Orange County Gay Men’s Chorus; the
most unbelievable group of guys one will ever know.
Finally, he remarks that the best part of the show is sharing
life for a brief moment with new individuals.
He looks forward to discovering the amazing talents of each
member of Anything
Goes
