Francee Shapiro
Evangeline Harcourt
Francee
is happy to be reprising her role as Evangeline Harcourt and excited
to be making her debut with the Showboaters. Francee grew up in
Minneapolis where she first caught the performing bug as a Minnesota
Vikings Cheerleader (a million years ago).
After college, she began “directing” her family and
“producing” six children.
With her children grown up, in college and getting married,
she has decided to return to theater.
She has played the roles of Miss Hannigan in “Annie,”
Mrs. Trachtman in “Love, Sex, and the IRS,” Mrs. Harcourt in
“Anything Goes,” and Mrs. Shapiro in John Blaylock’s “A
Christmas Show.” Her Favorite Role was that of Fraulein Kost in
the revival of “Cabaret” directed by her favorite gazelle, T.J.
Dawson. It has been so much fun meeting the talented performers
involved in this show and working again with so many others. She
would like to thank T.J. for the opportunity to work with him again
and special thanks to her wonderful husband Bob, her children, their
fiancées and the little one!
