Know It All

I'm a Know-It-All can't you tell?
I've heard every sound,
smelled every smell.

I've seen everything there is to see
every bug, every bird, and every bee.
Whoa!! Look there, a red kind of boar!
Hah!, now I'm a Know-It-More!

A Know-It-More, that's not so bad,
I've got all the knowledge
there is to be had.

I graduated school,
at the age of nine,
Dipoloma's, Awards?
There already mine!

Ack! Look, a rainbow ghost!
Guess that makes me a Know-It-Most!

This knowledge really is a killer,
I'd have to say
My brain's expanding,
getting larger, day by day
Oh good grief, For goodness sake!
What an awful time to wake!

Brains and knowledge,
What a great team,
Such a shame,
it was all a dream?

Or was it real?
Who can tell?
My ears are ringing,
they're little bells.

Guess I'll get up,
and go to school,
That's Wierd!
My head's as big
as an inground pool!

A dream? No! No!
What's after a Know-It-Most?
Is that as high as I can go?
I guess so.

I'm off to school,
My limits to breach,
Not as a student,
but as a Know-It-Teach!

This was an assignment for Reading.
Sean's teacher gave him an "A" *S*
He also thought it was good enough to
be published in his school's Poetry Anthology Book.
It was! *beaming*
Published in The Eagle's Quill 2000.
I thought,and still do
think Sean's poem is adorable! *S*
