I built this
crypt out of old sheets of 4x8
panelling,
1x3 strapping and a few chunks
of syrofoam
insulation. I painted the stone
texture on
the back of the panelling after
taping in
the grout lines. I used three shades
of grey,
light, medium and dark. I cut out the
foam into
stoned shaped pieces, roughed
up the edges
and painted them with latex
paint as
well.
It is still
a work in progress because
I still have
to put a roof on it and
paint the
interior.. Maybe next year.
