| The story of the Charmed Ones began when three sisters, Prue, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell discover they are decendents of a long line of witches and that their destiny is to protect the innocent from evil. Their mother, Patty Halliwell died at an early age and left the girls in the hands of their grandmother. When Grams died the girls recieved their powers and were introduced into the world of magic. Prue, the oldest, has the power to move objects with her mind. Piper, the middle sister, has the ability to freeze time. Phoebe, the youngest, has the power of premonition. Three years after learning they were the charmed ones, Prue was killed by a demon. Coping with the loss of Prue wasn't easy for Piper and Phoebe but it was a celebration for the underworld seeing how the power of three no longer existed. But destiny brought the Halliwell another sister Paige, who was a love child of their mother and her whitelighter. Paige was determined to show Piper and Phoebe that she could never replace Prue but she'd like to fill that empty space in their hearts after Prue died. The girls finally accepted her and reunited the power of three once again. Learning to be a witch was not an easy task for Paige. She was half witch and half whitelighter so Paige got all the powers of a whitelighter and she could also tele-orb which is similiar to Prue's power. She eventually caught on and controls her powers very well. Years later Piper and Leo, (the girls whitelighter and Piper's husband), gave birth to a baby boy which they named Wyatt Matthew Halliwell. He was not only the new generation of Halliwells but he was also the new generation of magic. Wyatt was not only wanted by his family but he was also wanted and feared by the underworld. Wyatt possessed great power that would eventually destroy all evil. Sometime later a man from the future, whom they later find out is Piper and Leo's second son Chris, comes to try to stop Wyatt from turning evil. In the process he suceeds but dies in his father's arms. Now baby Chris is here and the charmed ones are still wondering; Will demons keep coming after Wyatt? Will they ever have a normal life? |
