| �Rupert! Over here!� �Daniel! A comment, please!� �Tom! People Magazine!� The lights were blazing, the crowd was unbelievably noisy, and the excitement in the air was undeniable. It was the final premiere the three men would be going to together. Rupert and Terren held each other�s hands as they walked up the red carpet. He was stopped occasionally for a comment, a picture, and an autograph. He made it into the hotel with his sanity in check. �You were great out there, as usual,� Teri cooed, kissing his nose playfully. �How could I have survived without you remaining silent on my arm?� he asked, rolling his eyes. �I could have been talking nonstop, smiling at every camera and yelling at every reporter. Poor Daniel,� she laughed, holding onto Rupert�s waist while staring out at the crowd. Almost every reporter in the place who had accosted Daniel, Adrienne had warded off. Every so often he�d look at her so appreciatively that cameras shoved in closer to get a glimpse of their undying love for each other. Daniel and Adrienne finally made it into the building and breathed exhaustedly. �It�s crazy out there!� Adrienne commented. �I know it was, especially since you were answering all the questions,� Daniel laughed, tugging at her arm playfully. �You mister, are getting on my nerves,� she said, stepping closer to him and poking at his chest mischievously. �And you, miss, are all over mine,� he said, holding her in a tight embrace and kissing her passionately. Terren got closer to Rupert as they waited for their two friends to make their way up to them. �Tom!� �Anya!� The two had been smiling and giving their comments up and down the carpet as well. �Miss Bisbee, People magazine,� a woman said, stepping up to her. �How do you feel about the success of your last book, Evil�s Revenge?� �I am not surprised at all with the way it turned out,� she said, looking up at Tom quickly. �The story was easy to write. It was so true and passionate that it would have been a complete mistake if it hadn�t blown up like it had.� �Where did you get the idea to write about Draco�s falling in love with his mortal enemy?� Again, Anya glanced at Tom, who was beaming at her with obvious pride. �It came with personal experience, as most of my books do.� �Now what�s the deal with you and Tom? I hear there�s a rock,� the reporter said suspiciously. Tom stepped forward, taking Anya�s left hand and thrusting it at the camera. �The engagement ring I gave Anya was fashioned after the necklace that plays such an important part in Evil�s Revenge. I gave it to her three weeks ago,� he said, smiling from ear to ear. �The date should be sometime next summer,� he said, kissing her cheek quickly. After making it into the theatre, the girls all gave each other hugs and the men conversed quickly. Terren sighed in a satisfied way. �I just can�t believe this.� �What?� Adrienne asked. �Look where we are� look who we�re with� just feel inside of you, how happy you are! Two years ago, did we think we would be here, in love, and happy?� Within a few minutes, the men had rejoined them and escorted them to the premiere of the seventh and final Harry Potter movie, The Fortress of Shadows. Staring at each other with love and admiration, it was impossible to tell a year ago, they had been fighting over just tickets. |
