| Have you seen the three young men in the fiery furnace? When faced with a golden statue, they would not bow down And even though they had been tied, a fourth man walked round by their side The flames could not touch them - they were standing on holy ground. Chorus So how can you tell me you're lonely, and say for you that the Son dont shine? Let me take you by the hand through the pages of the Bible I'll show you something that will make you change your mind. Have you seen old Daniel, in the den of lions? Just because He served God, and called upon His name but in that place he had no fear - he knew that his God was near He just sat there waiting until deliverance came. Have you seen the thief hang on the cross next to Jesus? Guilty and convicted in his pain he cries "Jesus please remember me, in your kingdom let me be" Said Jesus, "You'll be with Me, today in Paradise" And have you seen Stephen, faced with his accusers? They all saw God's glory shining from his face And even when they stoned him there, Stephen knelt down in prayer Said, "Lord please forgive them" as God gave him grace. Have you seen the Son of God with His outstretched arms? Calling to a dying world, "Come unto Me, I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you Let Me take you in My arms - I will set you free" And so the church rejoices, even though it suffers They will praise the Saviour as long as they have breath By His blood theirs is the victory, and by their testimony All because they did not love their lives unto the death. |
