Coach Jones played LB/TE positions at Greenville High School where he graduated in 1992. He received his Bachelor's Degree from ETSU in 1997. While in college he played OL and garnered many awards. A three-year starter and letterman, he was elected team Captain in '96. He was also named 2nd Team All Southern Conference and All Southern Conference Academic Team the same year.
His previous coaching experience was at Shelbyville Central from 1997-2000.
In his 3rd year with the Big Red his record stands at 14-20.
Coach Jones is married to the former Heather Ball and has one daughter, McKenzie.
"Chief" graduated from LaSalle Collegiate in Warren, MI in 1991 where he played varisty basketball as a guard. He attended ETSU, obtaining a BS in 1997 and a MAT in 1999. He was awarded the Jerry Sutton Scholarship and was NATA board certified in 2000. This is his second year with CCHS.
Coach Cassell graduated from Morristown-Hamblen East High where he played C/DT. He was a Center at Maryville College and has been with the CCHS program for 3 years.
Coach Evans attended Jefferson County High where he was a WR/DB. He attended Carson Newman college where he played Point Guard and Wing in their basketball program. This is his third year with the Fighting Cocks.
Ray is married to Penny and has 3 children: Ian -10, Alex - 8, and Ryan, 3 1/2 months.
Coach Kelley attended CCHS and played OL/DE. While at Cocke County he was named Captain of the 1990 team, and was named All-Conference and All Northeast TN Defensive End. He graduated in 1991 and then attended Emory & Henry where he was named Honorable Mention All-Conference Linebacker in 1994. He obtained his Masters Degree from Carson Newman. He has been with the Big Red for 9 years.
Casey is married to Amie Arrowood and has a daughter, Erin Rhea.
Coach Kerley attended CCHS and played OG/DT. He then attended Tennessee Tech University. He has been with CCHS for 10 years and is married to Ladeana Parham.
Coach Lambert has been with CCHS for 4 years. He attended Marshall County High in Lewisburg, TN where he was a Tackle. He played the same position in college at Carson Newman. Coach Lambert has a Masters Degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
Mac is married to Melba Brannon and has three children: Joan Paul and Burl.
Coach O'Neil attended CCHS playing TE/DE. He graduated in 1981 and attended college at Warren Wilson where he was a Guard on the basketball team. He has been with Cocke County for 9 years.
Patrick is married to Rachel and has three children: Chris, Jon, and Catelan.
In his 14th year with the Big Red, this is Jeff's first year as assisant coach. Coach Williamson played DE for CCHS and graduated in 1983.
