Lewins Family History

This web page is dedicated to all those members of my family who through their hard work, perseverance and the hardships endured while working in the coal fields of County Durham, made it possible for me to be here. It is also I hope a legacy to my children and grandchildren and the future generations of the Lewins family.

                                                                     Barrie Thomas Lewins

In researching my family history over the past twenty years I have, as many a genealogist would agree;  come across a lot of brick walls and dead ends and my research has not come to an end it continues forwards and backwards in time' as new members join the family and new ancestors are discovered, so do not be discouraged and continue the search.

I hope that my family tree will help you in your searches into your roots and would love you to contact me if you find a link with your family.

There are many good amateur researchers on the net who will give advice help and support for free some of the best I have met are on Paltalk and their help and friendship has been invaluable to me. Therefore I have included a link to Paltalk to assist you the researcher in your quest, as an added bonus I have included a page of other sites that I have found to be a very good source of information.  I would also like to direct your attention to this International genealogy center's web pages which are a most useful source of information..
