1989 RS CAMARO!!!

height="400"> This is my 1989 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport with a 2.8 liter engine that has 135 horsepower at 4900 RPM's and 160 pound feet of torque at 3900 RPM's. She has a slip differential rear wheel drive with a 5-speed manual transmission. All and all she is very fast (0-60 in 5.3 seconds) and has great top end with excellant start outs and BURN OUTS!!!!
Now when I first got this car it wasn't in that good of shape. First of all she needed a new engine very soon because the other was about to blow. Other problems included, bad clutch and to replace one on this car you must take out the engine to get to it, wrong tailpipes, the pipes he had on there were way to small and was blowing right on my frame, bad shocks, struts, and springs, tires were all worn down and badly needed replaced, and there WAS a lot of rust on the bottom of the passenger door.
After all this, and I'm still not all the way finished cause she still a new paint job, she now runs better than anything, got great power, and is still looking good.
Sometime in the future when I get a little more money I AM going to put a 350 engine in her with a tuned port injection, and dual exhaust. I know because of these actions I will have to get a new transmission and a new computer and probably new hoses and wiring and a few other things that will come up in the future. Now for the tranmission I would like to get a racing transmission and a superchip for the computer. After this who knows what else I will do in the future!!!
