Red Dwarf: Skipjack-bottom Mouseboat Trials
The skipjack-bottomed (V-bottom front, flat-bottom back) Mouse is not finished, but with one coat of paint on the outside and primer on the inside, it was close enough to test out while the weather held.  It works, although once I had tested it for 1/4 mile or so, I couldn't get it back for the rest of the afternoon ;-)

And it now has a smeggin' name: Red Dwarf.

The design is a mod of Gavin Atkin's Mouseboat - join the Mouseboats yahoogroup for more info.

Success! And then it was 11yo Jake's turn
A pensive moment, or a brief rest?  You make the call... No Dad, I don't want my turn to be over yet.
Here he's violently rocking boat, having a grand old time and lifting both chines and churning up some foam.  No great risk of capsize at his weight.  Dig them circular radiating waves.
Hard to see, but he's standing comfortably.  He got yelled, of course, but the boat can handle it.
