Feel the exhilaration as we explore the sweetest trails amidst towering forests and spectacular mountains. Mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding skiing, rafting, rock climbing and caving, hunting and fishing are just a few examples of the high adventure activities that await you in Romania!
We have been designing and leading tours in this region for 10 years! We offer 2 and 5 up to 10-days tours, with camping and lodge options feasting on fantastic fresh healthy foods produced by biological agriculture. Friendly experienced guides show you the secret spots that maps never can, incredible scenery and some of the most amazing riding if you want to forget urban chaos!
The biking route offered by BikeTribe passes along the one of the most better preserved natural landscape in Europe, which has a very rich habitat including bears, deer, wolves, rabbits and many more. Native Romanians consider mountains and forests to be mystical places, implying both physical and spiritual healing. We have many deep caves (the longest is 50 kilometers long!) visited in the latest days of his life by the famous French explorer J.Y. Cousteau � and he was shocked because had never know about it until that time!
This biking tour along the main plateau of Western Carpathians of Romania doesn�t have many difficult trails but require a healthy condition and some experience. Crossing a trail of low-slanting hills, climbing straight up to the mountain or just having fun on a valley where some cows are drinking pure mineral water staring at some strange cliffs, with not many paved roads with asphalt, it allows for one to explore and enjoy the serene beauty of nature in the surrounding regions of our old little town Aiud while still getting in a good day's work out. We are interested and able to develop different abilities both technical and physical, riding on a downhill forestry road and many wild paths!!! While traveling around the country you can see people living and working in a traditional way, you can enjoy many local food specialties and drinks and especially the breathtaking views! You will never forget!
