Work is happening. I've discovered what happens when you switch companies, but stay on the same project: people see free money slipping away and stick their grubby, fat fingers into things.

Apparently motivation, performance, and value are not appropriate things to base my hourly rate upon. No, no, that is more appropriately based on tradition, laziness, jealousy, pride, and facism.
