SHEBANIAH'S POEM
Strength to stand
Power to talk
Strength to lay
Power to walk

Now don't you see
God holds me in His Hands
Now don't you see God's telling me
Get up and Stand

All Strength to be
All Power to see
All Strengthened Dove
All Powerful Love
God gives all it all to me

I need not fear
I need not even cry a tear
I'll never do without
I'll never have a doubt

My needs are clear
They're always in my God Hands

Keeping me so close He sways
I can talk and I can lay
I can sit and I can stand

I can even hear His Band
Of Angels so loud and clear
Of Angels so special and so dear

He holds me so near His Tender Heart
We will never ever part

He holds me so near and that's a fact
That nothing from Him will I lack

SHEBANIAH'S FIRST BOOK:

"Carry me on your back," said the Beetle, to his friend the Turtle. "Then I can go with you wherever you go. That would be so nice. I would have a very high view too. Oh won't you try to take me with you."
"Oh my goodness, you ask a lot of me," said the Turtle. I am quite slow, much slower than you are when you travel. You won't get very far, riding on my back. Mr Beetle said, "Well, I know that Mr Turtle. That is why me and you are friends. I can at least keep up with you. Some of my other animal friends, always leave me behind, for they are way too fast for me, a Tiny Beetle. They really do not mean to do that but it is natural that they move that way. They say that is the way God made them. So I am always left behind. But with you it is different. It is possible."
"Oh you know it's possible Mr Beetle. And if I say yes, how are you going to get up on my back? I am quite high you know. And my shell is much too smooth for you to climb up on."
"You are so right, Mr Turtle. How can I get up on your back. Mr Beetle thinks awhile and says, "Oh, I know, I will climb on that stick over there, for it is just the height of your back, and jump down onto your back. How's that for solving this problem?"
"Well, I guess it's Ok, for I won't even feel you up there, my shell is so hard. And I guess it would be nice for you to travel high for a change. That will give you a different perspective about things."
"Thank you so much, Mr Turtle, you won't regret your decision, for now you will have someone to talk to. And so will I. So we can help one another."
"Yes, that is a good thing, to help one another. Your right."
"Well I am going to scamper over to that twig beyond the tree. And you come over and I will jump on you."
"Ok," said Mr Turtle.
So Mr Beetle rushed over to the twig. But he sat and sat and sat and sat and sat, till he got hungry and had to go for food. After he ate his dinner he sat and sat and sat and sat some more.
Oh my goodness it's almost dark, the day was gone. So he decided to sleep right there where he was waiting. For he knew surely Mr Turtle would be here by tomorrow. So he slept beneath the twig.
When he awoke he looked over at Mr Turtle, why he was still afar, a long ways away. Why couldn't he move fast like me, Mr Beetle thought.

This is so ridiculous.

But he knew why. That's the way God made him.
So he waited one more day and a night and a day and at last, Mr Turtle was beneath the twig.
So Mr Beetle jumped onto Mr Turtle's back and got a front row seat to everything around him. And he indeed did get a different perspective on things.
But he kept seeing the same landscape over and over and and over and over. And he found he had to think too much to have something to occupy his time and this he did not like. But he did like talking to Mr Turtle and Mr Turtle liked talking to him.

But once again he thought, this is ridiculous.

This is too slow. And he told Mr Turtle so. Mr Turtle just yawned and said yes, and went into his shell to sleep a bit. For even the little bit that he moved tired him a lot; so he was designed to sleep a lot. And then Mr Beetle could not talk to him. So he just sat on top and did nothing.

This is Ridiculous, he thought.

Now all of a sudden he could not stand the slow moving Turtle anymore. Why then he realized that he did not want to walk as slow as Mr Turtle or stop and sleep a lot.
He was going to go find a friend that moved just like he did. He found out sometimes that's why we pick friends like we do. Cause they are like us to a certain degree.
And so he did get down off of Mr Turtle just by sliding off and he went looking for other bugs like him.
And he found a Lady Bug and they became friends and he liked her so much he married her.
And every now and then he would wave at Mr Turtle his old friend, who seemed to have found a Lady Turtle to talk to also. They were still friends Mr Beetle and Mr Turtle. They just did not run around with each other anymore.

Why you ask. Cause that's the way God made them.
