THE TINY FOOTPRINTS
Once upon a time there was a Baby that left it's footprints in the snow. One never knew from where it came or where it went.
But oh, there were the footprints loud and clear.
So upon each heart that peered into the snow, there was a definite snow shaped heartprint also. Oh the hearts that were touched by Baby dear. Touching the snow so clear and cold, how could it know it left hearts moved.
When it left one never knew, but one day the footprints were gone. Each little person that saw them, wanted to see them again. But they knew this was never to be. These footprints would never come again.
When the Sun melted the prints, they were gone forever.
One day Sister Baby said, "Oh where is baby?" Mama said, "waiting for us all, up in the mountain so high, over the plains and under the sky."
So Sister Baby was happy with that. For Baby was waiting for them instead of them waiting for Baby. Oh she liked this. "This must be a very special Baby for the Tables to be Turned," Sister Baby said.
Mama wasn't sure that Baby Sister understood about the Baby Footprints being long gone, so she asked Baby again, "do you know where Baby went?"
"Oh yes, we pray to God, and he wanted those tiny footprints all for himself. God is like that sometimes."
"Why you are right. He must have needed Him. I should have realized this before being sad for myself, Mama said.
Yes, said Sister Baby, you should be happy, for God is now happy."
But the Lord says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." So Baby Sister said, "that means you need to Trust God at all times even sad ones for us."
So they did and they felt better both Mama and Sister Baby.
So they ate a snack, drank some smoothies that morning and watched the sun rise over the plains. It was a most beautiful scene.
And late at night when the winds began to howl, Mama and Sister Baby cuddled up real close to each other and helped each other not feel lonely at Baby's Footprints dissappearing.
They both knew the BEST WAS YET TO COME, for the Lord had told them both so. FOR THEY HAD EACH OTHER AND DADDY TO HELP THEM FEEL BETTER ALSO.
You see God PROMISES A FANTASTIC FUTURE.
