SAFIR'S FIRST BOOK
Oh my, I
have a purpose. I was meant to be here at this time
and place. Before the world began, God knew me and knew I
would be here. That is so wonderful to me. He knew I would
love to sing and play music. Just like David in the bible, many
many years ago.
He knew I would
love so many things in my life, be happpy and excited about everything, and that I could do anything or be anything.
He knew he would always be with me.
He also knew I
would love my family and friends and grandma's and
grandpa's and all my relatives.
He knew that I
would someday accept that Jesus loves me, and that he
forgave all my sins and died on the cross for me. That he
was raised from the dead. And that by faith, I accepted him
as my personal Savior. And that I would be born again,
because I had believed in my heart, and confessed with my mouth,
that Jesus is Lord, and he made me spiritually alive, to God and
other Christians. And he gave me a purpose in life.
He knew that,
in whatever I did, I would be blessed and could depend
on him to fill all of my needs. I just needed to trust him
in all I did, and wait on him, and His promises, to pan out
in their time. All he wants me to do is to TRUST HIM, PRAISE HIM AND OBEY HIM in all I do and when I fail him, I just say I'm sorry and START ALL OVER AGAIN.
How do I know this?
Well let me tell
you a story.
Once upon a time,
there was this little Caterpillar named Switch. The Caterpillar
did not care that it was a Caterpillar. In fact, Switch loved
being a Caterpillar, and Switch told everyone he met, how very much
he loved being a Caterpillar. But Switch was different because
of the secret he carried around in his heart. Switch had a special secret
and told no one about it.
Switch loved to climb low and high.
And the Caterpillar knew that it had a purpose.
Oh how wonderful to
have a purpose in life, to reach for the stars and obtain all the
desires of your heart. Switch was going to climb high high high into
a tree, go into a Cocoon, and switch into a beautiful butterfly.
Switch could hardly
wait until the right time that all these wonderful things would
begin to occur. Switch really knew it would come, for the Caterpillar
soon, for he knew ,there was a right time for everything. A right season,
a right purpose, a right place, that each of us all belong to.
But in the meantime,
Switch loved crawling on twigs and investigating
all the dirt and grass around him. And sometimes, he even
crawled on logs, so as to see further around him. Then he would
watch all the other insects and people, that moved back and
forth, and he loved watching things, because that's about all
he could do.
He moved so slow, he had lots and lots of time,
to watch others and see how they lived.
He knew this was
his purpose, at this time, in his life. For he knew
purposes change sometimes. So he gloried in the fact, that
he was just a Caterpillar now, and did not mind when others seem
to move so fast around him, and got ahead of him in the game.
They would just ignore him, as a Caterpillar, but that was ok too. He
didn't mind. For it gave him lots of down time and he could really
be curious about everything, and learn daily as he crawled around
on the dirt.
Besides the people were just so busy busy busy because
they could be busy busy busy. But that's alright with me too, he thought.
They have a purpose too. But he knew someday soon, they would notice
him and maybe change their purpose too.
Well surprise,
one day Switch knew it was time to change. He crawled
up a big tree, and formed a Cocoon, and waited until the right time, and one day behold the most beautiful butterfly you
ever saw, came out of it and he could fly off of that tree
and land on all the gorgeous flowers that were all around him
in the garden.
Now he had another
purpose. He would make all the flowers look more beautiful
for they would have a butterfly land on their blossoms
and people would say "oh look, a butterfly on the flowers."
For busy people
forget to notice flowers sometimes, but a butterfly
will draw their attention to the beautiful flowers, because
they flit and flop and fly all around.
This was another
one of his purposes. To get the busy people to stop
for a minute from their business, and look upon some wonderful
creations of God and be peaceful for a time. They might even get
to know God better and serve him better.
So his
biggest purpose of all was to point people to
God, so they also could be Spiritually alive, as he went about doing little purposes.
And just like he switched into a beautiful butterfly, so can they switch, from dead in their tresspasses and sins to alive in Christ Jesus our Lord by asking him to come into their hearts and live with them.
And that is the 'BEST NEWS ANYONE EVER TOLD ANYONE ELSE.'
THAT JESUS LOVES THEM and WANTS TO SAVE THEM!
His secret had
come to pass.
BE YE WITNESSES!
Who knows that
you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this.
