PRINCESS'S FIRST BOOK
Once upon a time there was a Baby lamb. She was a pretty little Lamb and she was so tiny, and she looked just like Mama and Daddy Lamb.
Mama lamb said, "Oh my, how very gorgeous you are."
Daddy lamb said, "Oh my, how very beautiful you are."
Baby Lamb just smiled, she loved being told those words for she had a lot of growing up to do and she so wanted to please Mama and Daddy Lamb.
So when Mama fed her she wanted to eat everything Mama lamb had to feed her and then she wanted to eat some more. For she so wanted to please Mama and Daddy Lamb.
She gurgled and cried and kicked and slept for she so wanted to please Mama and Daddy lamb.
One day Baby Lamb, watched Mama and Daddy smile at her so often that all of a sudden it dawned on her. They want me to smile back at them. She mimicked them and she got such a good response that she did it again.
Wow, I like the feeling that gives me. I so want to please Mama and Daddy Lamb.
That was just not enough for Baby Lamb her desire to please grew bigger and bigger everyday. She could hardly keep it contained in such a tiny package. For she so wanted to please Mama and Daddy Lamb.
So everyday she watched them more closely!!!
And one day she found out her loud crying could also be turned into loud laughing.
Mama Lamb said to her,"googoo," and then she, bouncy, bounced,and shook the rattle and said," Oh my, how very gorgeous you are."
And Daddy Lamb came in and said, "Oh my, how very beautiful you are."
And then she stopped crying for all of a sudden she knew. She watched Mama Lamb and Daddy Lamb so closely and they were so pleased they both smiled and laughed and, wow, she got so excited she just let go of her cry and it turned into a laugh and Mama Lamb and Daddy Lamb laughed more and more and Baby Lamb laughed and laughed and laughed.
Wow, this felt so good, she would just do it again. And she did every chance she got. For she so wanted to please Mama and Daddy Lamb
Oh,this growing up was so much fun. She just ate more and more to try to grow up to look just like Mama and Daddy Lamb and to act just like Mama and Daddy Lamb.
And now she wanted to talk just like Mama and Daddy Lamb. Oh this growing up was so much fun. So many brand new things to learn every single day. But she had to listen to them talk over and over and over and it was harder to talk than it was to laugh. She would have to practice a lot. But she listened carefully to every word she heard said. And most of all she liked the words,"I love you", Mama and Daddy Lamb would speak to her over and over. And everybody else would tell her I love you also and she loved that very much and for she so wanted to please them all.
Daddy Lamb had to go to work to make his coat shiny so he could provide wool and show Mama Lamb and Baby Lamb where all the good pastures to eat were and Mama had to take care of Baby Lamb while Daddy Lamb grazed in the pastures sometimes far away.
And then one day Mama and Daddy Lamb told Baby Lamb about their Great Shepherd of Love that had chosen Baby Lamb to be one His Little Lambs. How very much he loved Baby Lamb and would always be with Baby Lamb wherever she went.
Baby Lamb grew and grew and Mama Lamb and Daddy Lamb would talk of This Great Shepherd and Baby Lamb would just listen and listen and listen. For she so loved this Shepherd of Love who first loved her. And she so wanted to please, Him. And she would ask Mama and Daddy Lamb to tell her the story of THE GOOD SHEPHERD, THE GREAT SHEPHERD, AND THE CHIEF SHEPHERD OF LOVE. JESUS!!!
THE TINY OLIVE
A great big olive tree went to the Tiny Olive and said,
You are a tiny little thing where did you come from?
The Tiny Olive laughed and said off a tree just like you,
I'm the seed for something BRAND NEW
Plant me and watch me grow
A tiny tree to you I'll show
So the Big Olive Tree did as the Tiny Olive said
He planted Tiny Olive and then he went to bed
The next morning bright and early Big Olive woke
And looked around and oh my goodness look what he found
A Tiny Tree stood where he'd placed the Tiny Olive in the ground
Why he looks just like me only tiny
I see what Tiny Olive meant when on this trip me he sent
I guess one never knows what's inside an Olive round
For now I see a Tiny Tree making a great big sound
As in the wind he plays and loudly speaks and says
I'm a Tiny Tree just like you
See I'm me
Someday I'll be big and tall
And grow to be A GIANT OLIVE TREE
