and black, with no iris or pupil. Staring into them
for too long will mesmerize anyone should he wish.

Basic Description:

Jalor appears to be a tall (Just under 7 feet in height) humanoid.
His general build indicates that he is not human, and at first glance
he could be mistaken for a Vulcan wearing sunglasses. However a
second look would show that his ears are not 'pointed' enough for a
Vulcan and they also do not possess 'lobes'. The main indication of
his race is the glasses. The glasses worn by Jalor are totally black,
they wrap around his face to completely conceal his eyes (much like
very expensive ski glasses), and they secure behind his head to
prevent them falling off. The glasses are made from a special plastic
that is manufactured by the Damorkin. This material allows a Damorkin
to see through as if it was not there (ay virtue of their visual
abilities), but prevents non-Damorkin from doing so.
Jalor is a relaxed and calm person, he generally calm even under
extreme pressure. This stems from his mastery of the Damorkin concept
of 'Discipline'. This concept holds that total control of both mind
and body is essential to life. However unlike the Vulcan approach of
prohibiting emotion, the Damorkin believe that every emotion has its
place but that to act in anger or fear is wrong. The Damorkin try to
Discipline' their minds and bodes, and Jalor will therefore never
act out of anger or fear.
Jalor is an accomplished martial artist and makes a dangerous
opponent in this type of combat. Aided by a bone structure several
times more dense than a human Jalor possesses a _very_ powerful
punch.
General Background::

Jalor was born on the Surinoth Station and spent his first eighteen
years living there. As is customary for his people he was trained in
his best field between 18 and 21 following which he should have
returned home. However while training Jalor showed such ability in
Discipline that he became an Adept at age 19, and upon finishing his
training at 21 was made a Master Adept. At this point he decided not
to return home, instead he exercised his rights as a Master Adept and
applied to the ruling Council of Lore to be permitted to enter
Starfleet Academy. This was permitted and so Jalor became the first
of his race to enter Starfleet.
As his specialist field in his early years was Engineering Jalor
majored in Engineering. However, he was also chose to study Starship
Operations while at the Academy.
Special Skills::
----------------------
Jalor can eat Spaghetti Bolognese with chopsticks. This 'skill' was
acquired when a fellow cadet at the academy told him ,by way of a
joke, that this was how it was done. Jalor ordered Spag Boll and
quite successfully ate it using only a pair of chopsticks (much to
the disappointment of the other cadet). It must be admitted that
Jalor had practised for a week before hand.
