Satanism~ What is it, What it is not, there is a difference.

The beliefs of Satanism should not be dictated to others, not should others be made to follow any writings or doctrines. There are such things that are written by people with their own beliefs on certain subjects, they are more of a starting point, more so a guide for those that are interested in the left hand path or those that are of the Left Hand Path, they are not there to be followed exactly. The wariousl writings by various authors can be applied to any form of belief out there, but they all must be read with open minds. A closed mind is an occultists worst enemy, for to close the mind means one is too set and feels that they have no more knowledge left to gain, nor do they even want to attempt to learn anything new.

There are many different forms of beliefs in the Left Hand Path, most often you will find those that are of the modern Satanists, meaning those that see themselves as their own god, they are the ones that do not believe in any such deity as being real, they feel that Satan represents all that is human and all that is carnal. They see Satan as an adversary or an oppose.

There are many other beliefs as I have previously states; however, the other general form is the Traditionalist, that is the belief that Satan is a god or the Dark god in the opposite of the belief of the Christian God, basically the inversion of xianity. Still, there are more beliefs than just those.

Satanism is NOT just a religion or a philosophy, it has no rigid structure, there is no one belief or person that can dictate what is right or what is wrong and that you must follow this way or no way. Satanism is NOT something that should involve only meetings and discussions with nothing actually taking place, a Satanist does not apply any performed morals or rules to their lives and what happens in them, they do not want to be in the public eye for their beliefs, nor even please anyone that doesn't no believe in what they want, nor that wants to tell others how to live their lives.

What a Satanist is: a person who is in a constant quest, they strive for self excellence, with physical, psychic, emotional magical changes occurring consistently. This is what gets a Satanist closer to self excellency and to the divine spark or the black flame (or divine light) within. To gain knowledge in life to make themselves be a god or a goddess, the Satanist has an inner quest to the innermost consciousness and the darkness that is within the soul and the mind. A Satanist pushes themselves beyond all physical, mental and emotional limits that are placed on the self. A true Satanist takes guidance from others, not orders on how to live or demands on how to live. They will not be dominated in anyway as they are the strongest humans that walk the earth. Satanism is a constantly testing of the self, the character, the methods in ones life by the experiences that they have.

Satanism is a very hard and dangerous path to take as one has to be strong in their beliefs and ready to take it to a new level. A Satanist does the things in real life, they make their fantasies a reality, they master all that they can seek out and the ultimate goal is to be a new form of being, to make the self one with the god, to be a god themselves.

Satanism is an inner quest for knowledge, a quest to surpass all others, a journey to push the self beyond all limits. In doing this it is quite hard and dangerous, and many cannot deal with the realities of the self.

Satanism is essentially is dark and evil, many of the organizations and groups of the past 40 years are not this, they want to live in a safe way, with no deities, or no real satans, many are just in it for the shock value of the such beliefs.

Forms of Satanists

Basically a modern Satanist is the type that feels Satan is inside of the self. That they are their own gods, indulgence not abstinence, Satan is the adversary and is not a deity. They do not worship Satan in anyway; it is the worship of the self, and anything that bring physical mental and emotional pleasures. Their beliefs start at Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible, and develop their beliefs from there.

However there are those that do think that LaVey was some sort of god or even a devil, even though he has passed away, they are now worshipping him and not actually living his beliefs. Many do not more on from this point.

The Free thought Satanist, they are open to all beliefs. They accept everyone and all beliefs of the left hand path, they have moved on from the Satanic Bible and LaVey's other writings. They learn from others and share their opinions openly for others to learn for them. Most feel Satan is a part of them also all around them, and are very open to change most free thinking Satanists have a very strong magical background and beliefs and beliefs and are not afraid of the outcome.

The Genuine Satanist realized they are in a quest for self excellence; they want to go up against the normal. They push themselves to achieve a higher state of being. They do not give in; to give into others means their destruction. They are dark and evil in nature, have no fears as fear only leads to destruction. They show the worthless no pity, because pity leads to the weakness that leads to the destruction. They are constantly searching, striving for the top of the ladder of life. They live by no one else's standards; they push themselves to be better and closer to self excellence every day.

The Satanist is always striving for self excellence by taking real action and challenges alone, by individual desires and wills. Satanism requires experiencing and mastering all feelings, desires, pleasures, terrors, and pain. It is a constant quest and exploration of the hidden, the dark side within you (as many refer to the black flame). A Satanist refuses to compromise, be dominated or intimidated. Thus they would rather die than to give in. Satanism tends, ordeals, methods and the means to develop the self character are severe and will not become easier.

Satanism is a way of life, a philosophy and a religion all in one; it can never be one of those by itself. There are no rigid structures and the Satanist takes on reality alone with nothing to lean on or rely upon. They live by the experience alone.

The Genuine Satanist or true Satanist may not be in the open because many are very secretive in their ways. Satanism involves taking action when others would rather talk and have continuous meetings. They learn from their own experiences, not the experiences of others.

There is no recognition that is necessary for the Satanist to gain for this reason, many are secretive and private in their lives, their organizations are mostly not know, nor do they truly care to make them known.

Thus a Satanist is often, preying on others, and live as such, they do not fantasize of things, they are the ones that get out there and do something about what they want, they are the ones that make their fantasies a reality.

To go down the path of True Satanism you must be ready to take on all personal and mental dangers. Many of these are life and death varieties.
