Part Three
Why is it that Christians do not questions anything that is written in their bible? Basically because it is taught to them that god is mysterious, and that they should not question him.
For instance the name of god; was it always god? Meaning did god only have one name? The answer to this is NO! There are many names that are written in the Hebrew texts, many more than the Christians fail to know and to research, because they just sit there and accept the fact that he IS called god. This is not completely accurate.
Here are just a few of them and their meanings:
These names were all found in the HEBREW Texts, all throughout the Old Testament. Christians don't know this because they are NOT told or the Bible of their preference does not tell them this. Many bibles are translated in tongues (strange verse) with no explanation as to what they mean, and if one asks they are told to trust in the Lord and question not. So their faith is only as deep as what they know.
Then, without knowing or understanding the whole concept they go out and try to share the news, spread gods word, those that are not impressed by or care of god's word become wrong. But why is it wrong to question a god who in my eyes, may or may not exist? And what makes their beliefs better than anyone else. They feel it's because they say they are and others have to accept this. No one has to accept anything that they really don't believe in, nor want to. That is most definitely how the Christians see things, and how they think it must be.
There are many contradictions
in the bible, as well as many missing things, things that the Church Fathers
simply took out in order to make things more easier for the gemeral public to
understand. This is not the way that it should be. We should be able to believe
in things that we feel are important to us. Not believe in that which we are
just told to and question nothing.
