What really stands out for me about MIB II is the brevity of the movie. Damn short.
Moving on to the Cooperman 4-Point Scale:
1.) Quality - I think that the movie was reasonably well made. Tommy Lee Jones & Will Smith (or was it Robert Horry?) are both good actors. Laura Flynn Boyle (sp?) really works the cleavage despite her thin frame. Nonetheless, this movie will never be mistaken for a truly great movie. Very limited story development & the task at hand seems a bit too easy for our MIB. 2 out of 5.
2.) Entertainment - I have no real complaints with the 80 or so minutes of the movie in this category. I enjoyed myself for the most part. 2.5 out of 5.
3.) Comedy - Certainly there were some funny moments. A talking dog is always worth a bonus point in my books and Robert Horry (Will Smith?) gets a few laughs as well. 3 out of 5.
4.) Nudity - None. However, for those viewers who were looking for repeated cleavage shots, you're in luck. 1 out of 5.
Overall, certainly not as good nor as original as MIB. I would call this a sequel that doesn't stand up to the original.
