| Bessie is a Filipina born in Hawaii to a family who loves singing. Joining the Citadel Chruch choir in Quezon City in the Philippines was the turning point for her love of singing four-part harmony. Since then, singing in concerts kept her hooked on singing. She has sung at the Phil-Am life and Cultural Center of the Philippines but considers co-producing and directing the musical/drama "Jesus Reigns" the epitome of her musical career |
| A founding member of Blend 32, the group has provided another venue to keep her love of singing going as well as providing another avenue of ministry to the community. In addition to singin, Bessie's talents also include Hawaiian and Ballroom dancing as well as drama performance. Her first play was "Hello Out There". |
| Getting married in 1999 to Gary, a man who also loves music, has added new dimensions to her "music life". In addition to singing and dancing with Blend 32, Bessie is a member of the First Philippine Baptist Church chorale and used her talents as stage manager to FPBC's Easter and Christmas musicals. |
