Obituary of Furn Gray:

Furn Gray, son of Lee and Anna Hufford Gray, was born near Croton,
Iowa, on August 22, 1892 and departed this life on August 11, 1958 at
the age of 65 years, 11 months and 20 days. He had been in failing
health for several months.
He spent his entire live in and around Farmington, receiving his
education in the Farmington Public Schools.
On September 22, 1920, he was united in marriage to Vera Kutcher of
Farmington. To this union was born two sons, Lloyd of Keosauqua and
Robert of Ankeny.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Virgil
Gray.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife; two sons; his mother;
two sisters, Mrs. J.T. Hassler of Farmington, Mrs. Edgar Hohl of
Donnellson; three brothers, Norval and Rollan of Milton and Paul of
Farmington; two daughters-in-law; five grandchildren, Jene, Linda and
Barbara Gray, Keosauqua and Janey and Julie Gray of Ankeny.
Funeral Services will be held from the First Baptist Church,
Farmington, at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, with Rev. Jerry Beltz
officiating. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery.

Farmington (Van Buren), Iowa, and died September 08, 1992 in Ft. Madison
(Lee), Iowa. She married EDGAR MARTIN HOHL February 14, 1923 in
Primrose (Lee), Iowa, son of JOHANN HOHL and ANNA SCHMITT. He was born
January 12, 1900 in Lee County, Iowa, and died December 31, 1979 in
Donnellson (Lee), Iowa.

Obituary of Edgar M. Hohl:
DONNELLSON - Edgar M. Hohl, 79, Donnellson, died at 1:50 a.m.
today , Dec. 31, at his home. He had been ill the past month.
Mr. Hohl was born Jan. 12, 1900, at Primrose. He was a retired
farmer and a lifelong resident of Lee County.
On Feb. 14, 1923, at Primrose, he married Vivian C. Gray, who
survives.
He was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ,
Donnellson, the Lions Club and the War Dads.
Besides his wife, he is survived by tow sons, Floyd E., of
Donnellson, and John L. of Washington, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Charles
(Arleta) Rohdy, Donnellson; a sister, Mrs. Val (Della) Klingler,
Donnellson; and nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother in infancy and two sisters.
His parents were John and Anna Christiana Schmitt Hohl.
The body is at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson where
funeral arrangements are pending.
