| MY FAVORITE BAND | CLINTON: THE COMEBACK KID | BUSH'S UNJUSTIFIED WAR | LINKS | EMAIL ME |
Hi, my name is Lea. I am a student at Skyline and this is my first website project for Bus 103 under Ms. Motipara.
I would like to share my fondness of a group band called Creed. I first saw Creed at a concert in Shoreline, Ampitheatre in October of 2002. It was awesome! The next time I saw them 2-months later was at a private residence in Truckee where they performed to thirty-people who won the radio contest. I watched them perform at a mere distance of 10-feet. It was great! I have incorporated the best Creed photos I could find and a little information about the band.
I also wanted to state my political observations. I think very highly of Mr. Clinton as President. He was critized as a man, for the personal choices he has made, but he was undeniably a great leader of this country. Bill Cinton was called the comeback kid because despite the scandal, he triumphed. During Clinton's administration, the U.S. enjoyed more peace and economic well being than at any time in its history. Under Clinton's administration, U.S. was perceived as a peace mediator of warring countries. My web pages of President Clinton present a chronicled history of the Clinton Years.
When Clinton left office in year 2000, we had a surplus of over $200 billion dollars and the economy was thriving. In 2-years time under the Bush administration, we find U.S. economy in the worst deficit of U.S. history and the loss of 2-million jobs. But Bush's greatest blunder was he brought this country to a war that was illegitimate and unjustified. To this day, WMD (weapons of mass destruction) have not been found. To this day, there has been no tangible proof of Saddam's involvement in the 9/11 tragedy. We are now seeing Iraq as an extension of Bush's corporate cronies expansion such as Haliburton & Bechtel. These companies are raking billions of money to restore Iraq in a "special" arrangement with the Bush administration that was not open to public bidding. These companies were also found to have donated the most money in the Bush campaign funds. I provided a detailed view of why Bush's war was unjustified.
