I can't decide what to think of this guy. On one hand, he's pretty damn smart. After all, he's making a profit from the idiocy of human beings. On the other hand, he's doing it by making everyone so fucking annoying and stupid. Stupider than they already were, even.

When I first saw William Hung on American Idol (shut up. My mom had it on the TV for some reason and I happened to see it,) I had a sneaking suspicion that that performance would not be his last. Soon, he was making appearances on talkshows and singing new songs. "He's going to get a record deal," I kept telling everyone, but they didn't have as much faith in humanity's stupidity as ol' Will and I did.

Lo and behold, our faith prevailed. William Hung scored a deal for his first album, Inspiration. I hope all this information is accurate. I might seem less credible if it's not. Actually, I'm not credible. I'm incredible. I fucking rule.

...Anyway, William Hung is getting all of this shit from one phrase along the lines of "I tried my best and have no regrets." That crafty bastard! I could never pull something like that off because I'm not pathetic, nor do I have a funny accent. This guy, however, had everything going for him. (In this case, everything is actually nothing.)

Yes, I do believe this was at least somewhat intentional. I don't believe he was entirely depending on this to happen, but he figured there was a chance that he might somehow benefit from it. He tried, and the people didn't fail him. Thanks to their sympathetic tendancies, he's a celebrity.

I've decided that William Hung is my friend. Though his very existence drives me to the brink of insanity, and looking at him hurts my eyes, this man managed to profit from the pathetic compassion of weak human beings that make up the vast majority of our population, and I respect that.

~He seriously needs to entitle his next album "Like A Horse."~

Back to further enlightenment.
