School systems are quite possibly the thing about society that pisses me off the most. No, it's not because I get too much homework, or because Mrs. Whatsherface is a meanie. It's because of its terrible divine purpose:

School exists to turn you into a mindless drone. It informs you to the general point of human knowledge; about a sixth grade education. The whole time, though, it's been gradually becoming more imperative and less educational.

By highschool, you are no longer learning for yourself, but for society. You are no longer learning how to calculate, but how to sit quietly and do what you're told. You are repeatedly given instructions and the only way to "succeed" is to comply with them.

In this sense, you are being prepared to serve society's ultimate purpose, whatever that may be by the time you're able.

The fact that people with an education appear more successful than people without one make schools' true purpose go undetected. But if you pay attention and think about it, you'll realize it's brutally obvious.

Unless you've already been converted into a brainless social-abiding puppet, you've probably noticed that everything they teach in highschool is completely pointless. Not only that, but they are trying to force morals and ideals down your throat around every corner; things that have nothing to do with the lesson you're "learning."

Education, along with the media, is where you learn how to be a good person. Since it's human nature to be accepted as a good person, you will comply with how you are taught. In doing this, you're giving yourself up for the purpose of someone else's desires. No matter how powerful you may think you are, you have fallen or will fall victim to this.

The morals that education and the media make you feel are easily associated with tasks they'd like you to comply with. For instance, let's say they've convinced you that refugees from third-world countries deserve your compassion. If they want you to do something, it's only a matter of convincing you that, if you do it, refugees will be saved.

It is by the methods described here that society is able to give you the illusion of freedom while actually controlling you quite easily. Who needs freedom, though? It's just one step closer to anarchy.

I know I can't be the only person to have realized this, and so I'm awaiting my own conversion as calmly as I can. I'll see you on the other side.

~Enjoy your real freedom while you have it, kids.~
