Yes. Art.

I was reading something in my history book and it said that a very talented and well-known poet wrote the following poem:

Be praised, my Lord, for all your creatures.
In the first place for the blessed Brother Sun, who gives us the day and enlightens us through you.
He is beautiful and radiant with his great splendor.

How is that even classified as poetry? It means nothing! It's just a bunch of pointless junk with big words. If I was alive back then, I'd have beaten this guy and anyone who thought he was a good poet. Then I'd live for 1000 years and blow the brains out of anyone who agreed that his poetry was good.

But everything that is considered good art is not. I was walking through this museum on some school field trip and I saw this painting. It was a square, with four smaller squares. Each square had the exact same picture of some random guy, only they were each coloured differently.

"what the hell is that crap?" I asked someone, but they were gazing at it euophorically. "That's the most beautiful and creative work of art I've ever seen," they said, or something like that. So I kicked their ass. Then they were all "Ow," and I was all "That's what you get for liking shitty art," and they got mad again so I kicked their ass again... It went on for a while.

But seriously, everything that everyone thinks is so brilliant these days is just crap. I think the people think it's so great is that the greatness of it (not very great) is at the pinnacle of their understanding of anything. That's why they think it's the greatest thing ever.
~People think they know things.~
