I was watching this movie today. This guy went from a slow zone to a fast zone, so there was an afterimage of him moving slowly towards the entrance of the fast zone. He looked back and saw it.
Are the writers stupid or something? Do they think afterimages are things that just float in the air for anyone to observe as long as they can somehow be preserved? You can't see a damn afterimage of yourself if you never saw yourself in the first place!
Other than that, the movie was pretty good. Cube2: Hypercube. Except...yeah, well, I won't ruin it for you. Cube was better, though. Hypercube was interesting, but Cube... Yeah... They're both good movies. Go see them. Just don't get any false ideas of seeing your own afterimage after watching them.
Also, if it was an afterimage, it would be a chain or string of images that flow into each other. This was just one translucent guy jumping the same way the guy did before.
So then I'm all "What the fuck? You morons!" so I went in there and kicked everyone's ass. First, I smothered the girl with her long-assed dress. The afterimage noticed what I was doing and tried to save her, but his punch went right through me. Then I tripped the afterimage and he fell down and broke his translucent nose. The bone went up through his brain.
The guy who made the afterimage tried to run, but I busted out an AK47 and blew his brains out. Then I laughed.
~People don't know what afterimages are.~
