Effect of conspiracy:
Bumper stickers exist so that you will get distracted looking at them and run into the car in front of you, which will be the one with the bumper sticker.
Who is in on it?
People who put bumper stickers on the backs of their cars.
How?
Simple eough: They put bumper stickers on the backs of their cars.
To what end?
If you run into the back of their car, it will be your fault, and they will collect insurance money for it.
Who is in on it?
Insurance companies.
How?
They fund bumper sticker creators.
To what end?
The more accidents there are, the higher the demand there is for insurance, and the more money the insurance companies make.
How to counter this conspiracy.
There's no real trick to avoiding this conspiracy. Just try to keep yourself from reading bumper stickers at all cost, even if they are as hilarious as "Save the trees!"
