Atlantis’ smile
This
thought suddenly shakes me
And
annihilates every shame and every defence
I
had suffocated that stupid habit
Of
Pindaric flights and of heroic tormented waiting
And
I will resist this lack of oxygen
Despite
the treacherous streams I will arrive
At
the bottom of the unfathomed deep in the ancient luxury
Of
a world submerged thousands of years ago
I
stupidly feared the immense and ruthless beauty
The
depth of your eyes
This
thought makes the awakening sweet
Bothering
the torpor, the usual laziness
Extinct
scents and enchanting sunsets live again
The
great hopes overwhelmed by the rage of stormy oceans
Wrapped
in a prodigious atmosphere
Atlantis
smiles untouched and turns a friendly look
At
the bottom of the unfathomed deep in the ancient luxury
Of
a world submerged thousands of years ago
I
stupidly feared the immense and ruthless beauty
The
depth of your eyes
