The Camry engine was overhauled and sent to a local machine shop for assembly. At the same time, the transmission was sent out for upgrading to handle the power. In the mean time, the engine bay was completely refinished with new paint and clearcoat, and all lines, hoses and wires were replaced and restored.
The fuel system consists of two in-tank Walbro GSS-341 255LPH fuel pumps that are custom mounted inside the fuel tank. On the fuel tank cover, there are two -6AN lines that come up individually from each fuel pump inside the tank. The two -6AN lines that come out from each pump are routed under and up into the firewall. Each fuel line has a separate Earl's racing inline fuel filter.. Each line is routed to a separate fuel rail with a common fuel regulator, making it a true dual feed setup. The fuel rails are custom CNC machined with machined mounting pads. Injectors are SP 720cc/min injectors which utilizes domestic style O-ring.
