Silent moments of Lucidity, I realize where I am:
I'm back in prison once again; I've gotten into another Jam.
Shocking moments of reality at the horror of this place,
back doing time for the State, with sadness on my face.
Sadness too within my soul, a curious thing you see:
for I was doing qite well, out there in reality.
Is this all a nightmare, from which I'll soon awaken free?
No it's not , I really know, Oh God, can't You help me?
But yet I have a friend, who's very dear to my heart,
our love is quite close though, even while we're miles apart.
Thank you for being there, Lady, my dear sweet thing,
My body is still locked up here, but you make my heart sing.
