Life is about re-membering who we are. There is nothing outside of the Creator and by experiencing everything we are not we are in essence experiencing all that
we are, which is remembering that since all is within the Creator, we are also Creator. As above, so below. The trick is

The meaning of life is to be who you are. Never ever change for anyone else. Live life to the fullest. Do not worry about the past, for it is gone and tommorrow may never come. Never take anything for granted, for we may never get to enjoy them again. Life is to find your passion and live it. Never to give up hope and your dreams, you will reach it if you try hard enough and you know that you can succeed, if you just put your mind to it and get away from the negative opinions of others. Life is a mystery in which we must search for the answer. When we think we have found it, we should then live by it and make the best of it. CY

I believe that the purpose to life and its ultimate meaning is to make everyday count, never bear grudges, always respect (although it is hard to do) older people and count on the wisdom of children and their ultimate honesty. Never depend on the academically minded because quite often those with the poorest education are the wisest and above all else, be true to ones self. DJW

The meaning of Life is to survive and to live for yourself while living with others. To be happy and to not let oneself drown in sadness and dispair. I feel that at least one of the reasons we are here is to merge the physical with spiritual and then fully realize our potential. I dont believe that we are seperate from God and heaven as religion would have us believe and once you realise that, you start to realise your own potential. In doing this you realise that we are also here to love and support one another. When you help to improve the lives of those around you, you're helping to create a nicer environment for yourself as well. We all benefit. I believe the meaning of life is to realise your own potential and through doing this, utilise your skills not only to advance your own station in life but to aid in society's advancement as well. Life is too rich and too complex to whittle it down to a symbol of our endless and selfish material wants that will, like us, eventually run out. Although not all Christians believe this, I have known some to
take this position. But disagreement aside, life is a wonderful
thing and every creature, human or otherwise, should be thankful
for being bestowed with the chance to be conscious and experience

To be successful. My definition of success is that when you go to bed at night, to know that that day you have made someone's burden's a little lighter, to know that you have made someone's day a little brighter, and to be happy with what you have achieved for that day. KG

First and foremost I believe that life is a gift given to us by God. I secondly believe that life is lesson in itself and thirdly believe that life is like a test. I believe that the life here on earth is good but the life in heaven is better. I dont want to live just the good life, but the better life and I feel that God gives us life as a test. He gives us this test our whole lives. We repeat the test many times throughout our lives and at the end of the test, our time on earth, we are brought into heaven for God to judge us and seperate us from the good, the very good, the bad and the very bad. What we scored at the end of our life on earth and throughout, is what God seperates us by. He looks at our goodness, badness, friendliness, bitterness, loveness, hateness, etc judges upon this and puts us either into eternal heaven or hell. This is called our eternal life and our life on earth determines how good the better life will be. CF
The meaning of life isn't really a meaning at all. It is a simple thought which everyone asks themselves before they decide to kill themselves. Life is who you hurt, it is who you love and annoy. Your happiness is a nice thing but your love for others is something that will be remembered and thought of when you are gone. You have one chance, don't hurt too many people, it wears and tears at your own soul. SC
My meaning of life is when I compete with my horses. When I win or do well and the horse did well that's what life is all about to me. KD
My meaning of life is to appreciate the smell of rain after it has fallen, to admire the stars on a clear night, to cherish children because they are perfect art, to soak in the sun, to walk in the mud, to talk to animals because they are listening and to hold onto to the things I hold dear to me, even though it may not seem right to others. Lifes meaning - to be aware and appreciate what life has to offer, be engaged in life. Do or do not there is no try. Life is good and precious. I have deeply thought about my meaning of life for these past months. However today, meaning seems to me to be connected with love: I wish I could make a difference in other people's lives, in my family, friends, and leave a legacy of wisdom and love. Life for me, has a transcendental meaning and I wish I could put my strengths at the service of a world cause. I believe that there five elements of life, truth, courage, wisdom, hope, and love. You can have one without the other, for each element is very strong, but when the first four are combined you must unlock their power with the main key to life, which is love. We must all remember, one can start a war of hate, but to truly acheive something from such a horrible thing, one must end it in love. Don't think about how much you truly hate your enemy, think about the people that are getting hurt, and your love for them will end the war. Most of us live a life that has no life in itself. Neither money nor possessions can fulfil a life. I would prefer to be penniless than never lived a life of risks,
adventures, knowledge, and love. Life is spontaneity and

you. The main thing is to be open minded and never wonder what

My meaning of life lies on the
satisfaction that you receive from the fulfilment of your
principles. These principles are nothing but the priorities you set as well as belive in life and work towards the fulfilment of those. Your sense of commitment and integrity should be very clear and you should be fully devoted to your comitments. They should not be seen as burdens which you dutifully fulfil without emotional involvement. RC
I see a lot of people on here say there is no meaning to life or to anything else. And some say no one should dwell on it because it's stupid. but believe me...there IS a meaning for everything. God made man. And as you know he took a rib from that one man and made a woman. God must of had some reason for doing that. It wouldn't be logical if ge didn't. He wanted them to have children and to create a race of people. And He will destroy these people someday after He has completed His mission of creating this wonderful thing we call life. God wanted to love someone and he wanted to be loved in return. he wanted to have everyone love each other. That is the meaning of life. or at least the way I see it. Life, on a spiritual level, is about

I think the meaning of life is whatever one makes of it. It isn't fixed as such, but responds to how we act and what we expect. I've been spending the last 5 years of my life improving the quality of mine. In that time I've changed jobs, homes, religion, gender and so on, and on the whole life has more meaning for me now than ever before...so life is what we make it. :) LAS

I'm not sure that I am even searching for a one-time definition, as I'm sure today's definition may not be applicable in 10 years. Still I am trying to absorb and process what this existance means in any substantial way. Maybe nothing. I suppose I cling to the fact that I can only affect certain corners of the universe, and I try to do so as wisely and energetically as I can.

We are not judged for our morals but why we chose the direction of our life. It doesn't really mean anything to be good or evil in the bigger scheme of things but why we were what we were. Look around, is nature good or evil? No, it exists to survive, natural things don't have an ability to be either good or
evil, it is out of their bounds to achieve the capacity to choose between the two. Therefore humans, with the capacity to reason with emotion can choose these moral directions. So why
should choosing them be good or bad? Our social system which is linked to our religion creates the laws to propagate the theory that our life means more than it does, find the reason for your actions, and find the meaning of good and evil, then
maybe the truth of our existance will come to light. J.L.

wonderful thing. When you find your soul mate in life it's
wonderful. Some people take a lot longer to find their mate but
