Where does the Bible tell us how we know that the revelation of Jesus Christ ended with the death of the last Apostle?

It obvious from the prohibition one cannot add to the revelation of Jesus Christ written by the last apostle alive, John:

KJV Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand....

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Obviously the Revelation of Jesus Christ ended with John as none can add to it.

But God reveals the PETRA of Christ to every new believer:

Matthew 16:15-17 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The church is built upon the confession of the truth Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. That REVELATION will never cease occurring until the full number of God's elect come in. Then the end shall come.

One does not need a guru to bring Christ down from above, or a mystery man to divine Christ from below, for God who is always near....in whom we live and move and have our being, reveals Jesus to us, puts the revelation of Him in our hearts and in our mouths...

You too can have this joy....go to any Bible Christian church and request you be allowed to publicly confess your faith in the divine revelation Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

Perhaps Mr. Ray meant Catholic inventions not found in the 66 books of Scripture Bible Christians use.....but it is misleading to call that material "revelation of Christ" as can be easily seen by reviewing the list Loraine Boettner so helpfully complied in his book, Roman Catholicism, (Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company of Philadelphia, 1962), pp. 7-9:

It is quite clear none of that material is revelation of Jesus Christ...

Can we accept these additions which change the content of the faith of real apostles? No, for it is written:

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

"The faith" which was "once delivered" about 63 AD, when Jude wrote this, cannot be modified, changed, or added to. We, the keepers of genuine apostolic oral tradition, which is now written in our New Testaments, are charged with this holy commission, by God Himself.
