30) If the Bible is as clear as Martin Luther claimed, why was he the first one to interpret it the way he did and why was he frustrated at the end of his life that “there are now as many doctrines as there are heads”?

More lies, 1)Luther didn't reveal anything new, an overwhelming mass of irrefutable proof was documented by Editors David T King and William Webster in Holy Scripture: The Ground and Pillar of Our Faith, Vol II The Writings of the Church Fathers Affirming the Reformation Principle of Sola Scriptura,, (Christian Resources Inc., Battle Ground, WA 2001).

2)Stephen Ray/David Palm didn't quote "Luther's words." I searched English translations of Luther's works and couldn't find anything similar to it. The quote is from Fr. O'hare's diatribe against Luther, who in turn quoted a liberal theologian De Wette......its hearsay.

"This one will not hear of Baptism, and that one denies the sacrament [Real Presence], another puts a world between this and the last day: some teach that Christ is not God, some say this, some say that: there are as many sects and creeds as there are heads. No yokel is so rude but when he has dreams and fancies, he thinks himself inspired by the Holy Ghost and must be a prophet." (De Wette III, 61. quoted in O'Hare, THE FACTS ABOUT LUTHER, 208.)

I can't rule out Luther said this, but if he did, I'd wager the context proves he wasn't regretting sola scriptura. More likely, "as there are heads" means he blamed "unstable and unlearned men....wicked men", just as the apostle Peter did:

2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Therefore it is genuine apostolic doctrine God's word does not cause interpreters to become unlearned and unstable, rather these fallen individuals distort His Word, unto their own destruction.

To defeat sola scriptura....David Palm & crew must find where God said "don't obey my word"....and God never said that.

KJV 1 John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
