What is Islam Pillars?







Prophet Muhammad peace upon him said:

“Islam built upon five: that testification that nothing deserves to be worshipped except Allah Alone,
 and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, to establish the prayer, to pay the poor-due (zakaah),
 to make the pilgrimage (Hajj) to the House (Kabaa-in Makka), and to fast the month of Ramadan.”

and the Five Pillars are:- 

1.The witness of faith ( shahadah )

2.Prayers ( salat )

3.The poor due or obligatory Charity ( zakat )

4.Fasting ( Saum )

5.The Pilgrimage ( Hajj )


The Articles of Faith

There is six articles of Faith:

1.Belief in Allah Might and Majesty Belong to Him.

2.Belief in His Angels.

3.Belief in His Books.

4.Belief in His Messengers Peace upon him.

5.Belief in the Last day.

6.Belief in the Divine Preordainment and Divine Decrees (Qadaa and Qadar)
