Provided direct supervision to assigned residence during an eight hour shift. Reviews, tracks, schedules and monitors all activities, personnel and clients on a residence. Insured the rules, regulations and policies of the facility and program were followed. Encouraged and demonstrated spirit of cooperation and teamwork amongst employees. Monitored and ensured active treatment focus was implemented, thereby achieving client training toward the highest level of independence. Monitors and maintains training of staff. Correctional Counselor I - Corcoran State Prison
Prepare,review and update inmates Central File for purpose of Developmental Classification. To maintain, track and update assigned caseload in accordance with departmental policies and state laws. To assist inmates with institutional adjustments and parole preparation. Serve court documents as a Peace Officer representative to the state. Attended court as summoned. Perform liaison duties with other agencies and inmate families. Supervisory duties when required.

Worked closely with Correctional Counselors, making recommendations for inmate transfers, both inside and outside CSP-Corcoran.
