THE STAIR WAY PROBLEMS!
Here our my pictures of my apartment and other apartment in my complex. These pictures show how horrible our living conditions are. When we moved in, these conditions were not shown. As upon living here, these problems were discovered.
These Pictures are from the apartments actual common use areas, you must use this entrance when parking in back, since parking on streets from 2 am to 6 am is restricted (Leave your car/truck out front cost you $50.00) . As you can see, these steps are ready to fall down.. These are held up by rusted up, angle iron or steel. Some of the braces are actually rotted away, and steps are coming off. Some have been replaced, but only when falling through..
The hand rail, looks more like a tripping rail, then something, you can hold on to for safty. I have actually, tried going down these stairs, and I feel safer parachuting down with a umbrella.
As you can see by a average sized volunteer, where the rail is located on him. The rail is less than 22" tall, law is "Handrails must be 30-33" above the stairs " as you can see, comes a little short... I would say this would be acceptable to a small person or a Leprechaun.
