. We used this website to help with our fact page and why plants are important section. It had useful information regarding plants connection to our food supply and medical uses as well as some recycling statistics used on the recycling page.

"National Collection of Endangered Plants." Center for Plant Conservation. 5 May 2006 . This site proved to be a useful tool in locating endangered plants and information about them. �Recover America�s Vanishing Flora.�

"National Tropical Botanical Gardens." 10 May 2006 . We got information from this website regarding the importance of plant research and the ill effects of deforestation on indigenous plant life, and how the extinction of one species affects many others. In our How to help section, we have a link to this site where you can make donations to help their efforts to heighten medical, nutritional and practical research on plants in different regions of the globe.

"Plants Database." USDA National Resources Conservation Service. 7 May 2006 . The Plants Database had a lot of basic plant facts and statistics that were used on the fact page and the section about why plants are important. Several of the images (African Violet and the Saussurea lappa) were found on this site as well as information on those plants.

"Recycled Products." Old Growth Free. Markets Initiative. 16 May 2006 . This web page was used to help promote the use of recycled products in the "How to Help" section. It provided information on the different types of recycled paper and several ways to make sure you waste less paper that comes from regions that are in danger or ancient forests.

"Solutions." Greenpeace. 16 May 2006 . Greenpeace is a major organization that encompasses a lot of environmental issues. A good bit of information about recycling from this site was used on our website, particularly about in the office. Statistics regarding the effects of deforestation on wildlife and human paper wastage was also found on this site. A link to donate was put on our web page too.
