I began showing in 1965 with Pomeranians. I also bred and showed Papillons in the early 70's, and started showing and breeding Chihuahuas in the mid-70's till 2001.
I applied to judge Chihuahuas & Papillons in 2001. I judged the Texas Chihuahua Club, Chihuahua Club of Maryland and Chihuahua Club of Michigan specialties, and the Alamo Papillon Society specialty in Texas. I was approved for Chihuahuas and Papillons in October 2003. I was granted provisional status for Pekingese and Pomeranians in April 2004. I have judged three assignments thus far, in those breeds. I should finish up my provisionals by September 2005. I then plan to apply for Chinese Cresteds, Miniature Pinschers, Toy Fox Terriers,Japanese Chins and perhaps Poodles in the future, and am looking for Sweeps assignments in those breeds.
